This week’s W.O.W. is a delicious blend of the five main red grape varieties grown in Chile’s Colchagua, Maule and Curicó Valleys. Look at the label and see that Carmenere, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Merlot and Carignan are the stars of this complex and food-friendly red.
It’s dark ruby in color with aromas of dark berry fruit, blueberry and a hint of spice. The palate is complex and loaded with juicy black berry fruit and plum with notes of black pepper, vanilla and spice on the long, smooth finish. Perfect with grilled and roasted meats as well as beef and lamb stews.
