2013 Feudi Branciforti Dei Bordonaro, Nero D’Avola
“Nero d’Avola Branciforti of Bordonaro is sourced from the south facing vineyards on the estate of Gelso Grande, between Mount Erice and the Egadi. The grapes mature slowly in full sun to reveal intense ruby red color with purple reflections. Collected in the third week of September the wine is characterized by scents of ripe red fruits, plum and Mediterranean spices with delicate jammy notes. Pairs perfectly with grilled meats or hard cheeses.”
