2009 Chateau Larose Perganson
90 Points, The Wine Advocate: “A sleeper of the vintage and impressive is their cuvee called Larose Perganson, which in 2009 is a blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 45% Merlot and the rest Petit Verdot. It has the silkiness of its sibling, but is fuller-bodied, with more layers of fruit and glycerin and a heady finish (14.3% alcohol). It is opulent and pure, with loads of cassis, black raspberry and licorice notes backed up with some subtle oak. Drink it over the next decade.”
