W.O.W: A fine Bornado at a truly great price!

We know that Malbec is hot right now but we though this week we would offer another variety from Mendoza Argentina. Bonarda, until recently, was the most widely planted grape in Argentina. Believed to have originally grown in Italy it is now used in Argentina to produce many high quality bottles of wine. Bonarda coming from young vines are typically medium bodied with very subtle tannins. On the other side Bonarda coming from older vines is full bodied and rich with moderate tannins and great finesse.

Maipe Bonarda comes from vines planted 30+ years ago at the winery.

Deep red color with violet hints, the wine displays wild berries and violet aromas, with plum and cherry flavors and round, velvety tannins. Excellent value!

Available in our Wine Station for tasting all week long!
